  1. Be a better stage director of your business brain - Recognise the limits of your brain and be more conscious of your decision-making process.
  2. Inhibit distractions - Internal and external influences will always seek to distract you, be aware of the distractions, even if it means turning your phone off and ignoring your emails. If you let them undermine your business brain, you will achieve less than you could.
  3. Prioritise prioritising before your brain gets tired doing other work - Don’t just fall into your usual daily routine, making a list of priorities should be the first thing you do every day when your brain is fresh.
  4. Create undisturbed focus time - Customers, your team, meetings, calls, emails… many things demand your time and attention, however you only have up to 2 peak performing hours a day so plan them in and make them totally and utterly uninterrupted, unbroken and undisturbed.
